Happy thanksgiving! :) Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
Had a very non-traditional dinner with my mum, hubby and friends (steak, porcini & crimini mushroom risotto, shrimp couscous, lots of beer & wine). Turkey is just so boring to eat on holidays, we always try to change it up and have everybody stop over for a bite at some point. Even though it's not a holiday for my mum and I, we've always seen it as a great excuse to host a little dinner party (and drink copious amounts of alcohol).
Melly, maybe the Daily News or the Post? You can always ask your grocery store guys ;)

My Thanksgiving with the whole family in town was only marred by the shooting in front of my apartment. My stoop was blocked off in crime scene tape. Countdown to mom telling me i should leave Harlem in 3...2...
