well management is responsible for organizing the lineup properly and getting at least some security to have the line in order imo |
Barring bringing in the army, I don't know how you control a crowd that big.
Especially a crowd of crazed american consumers on black friday that are hungry for the TASTY TASTY SAVINGS! zomg |

Security and proper lining/gating material works for crowds of thousands at sporting events and concerts. Why is this any different?
Proper preperation, prevention, and security could have prevented this from happening: crazed American shoppers or not. |

what the hell was she doing there? it's one of the most crazy shopping days, probably worse then Boxing day
she fell over - she could have easily been in the place of that poor store clerk |

| Wal-Mart management should have put up security barriers, called in the police or hired some kind of security company. Also, they knew the crowd was large and crazy, so they should have pulled the workers back to a safer place. It doesn't mention it in the article but I wouldn't be surprised if that employee was there because he HAD to be. Its not like it was a flash mob or anything, management saw this coming from a mile away. |

| There aren't a lot of details yet, but CNN and ABC-affiliate KESQ are saying that in Palm Desert, California, there was a shooting that resulted from an altercation between two teenage girls inside a Toys R Us. The shop was inundated with Black Friday shoppers at the time, and when the girls were arguing, it seems, a male teenager began shooting. Someone was hit, though it's not clear who. The boy, a juvenile, was detained. Everyone was evacuted from the store, and things are under control now, says CNN. |

This is insane. I can't believe that material objects mean so much to people that it's worth it to kill/harm someone. What the hell is wrong with people! |
