Beware those of you shopping on ebay this holiday season. I'm trying to get new parts for my old Palm Treo 650. I ordered a new LCD screen about three weeks ago (just minutes before I left for the Dallas gig) since I broke the original one. I got the package in the mail yesterday, except that there was no LCD screen in it, only the protective film that goes over it with a smiley face drawn on it. Very Smart. He got the worse negative feedback of his life along with a nifty report to eBay's buyer's protection services. I don't know how they handle it and really it's not that big of a deal....but $30 is $30.
If anything like that happens to you guys, just give me your credit card numbers, the 3-digit security code (located on the back of the card), and the item you are buying. I can help you out. |

Well, it depends. What I usually do before I go sell something is I do a quick research of the item I'm selling. For example, the djm500; messed up 2/3 bass channels; type that under "search" and look for similar items with similar problems. You'll get an idea of how much you would be willing to get for it. That only happens rarely. The funny thing about eBay is that there are no "peak seasons", no matter if the ecomony is at teh s. I made $1100 two months ago selling some 4 foot tall lexan made Absolut vodka bottles. Some rich from Singapore went from a bid of $450 to $1100. I'm guessing he was either on crack or was afraid of loosing something he was dying to have. As far as getting it fixed, Evan's Music here in Houston wanted $60 an hour plus parts to fix my Axiom 61. I gave them a big eff-you, called up M-Audio, ordered the part I needed myself for $15, took the damn thing apart and started making choonage again. :)
Give me the item number of your listing. |

Everything looks good dude but NEVER put reasons why you are selling an item on ebay . That says alot and people may think you are just trying to get rid of the item with some bs on the description because "you need to pay your rent". Obviously we all know why we need money, but some people are just ignorant enough to think that way. Hit the "Revise" button and fix that before someone bids, otherwise you won't be able to fix it once someone bids.
Other than that it looks good. There's nothing wrong with a simple listing. Don't do like my dumb ass; I sell things on ebay with all sorts of pretty layouts and then I get pissed with ebay charges me the selling percentage plus $10 in listing fees lol. |

Watchers are always a good thing. Should at least have one bid on it by the remaining 10th hour. I'm pretty sure you'll sell it. |

I usually stay away from that "Buy It Now" button. You could always sell for more without it. At least you sold it dude! Congratos! |
