nah, she enjoys it tbh. The only thing she has left is her independance and if you try to do anything to help like that you get moaned at. She's not gonna change now so just enjoy seeing her giving people evils and telling them to piss off. Someone hit her bumper in the carpark 2 weeks ago and she got out & says to this woman "do you drive like an idiot all of the ing time or just today?" After which I inducted her into the "you've said the F word so now you can't moan at any of us grandkids using it" club :p

damn... fiesty! If I ever make it to an old age, I probably won't give a either and just tell it how it is to people
Ian
yeah. she's cynical & mad but it's great to have a gran who has a collection of powertools because she won't pay some extortionate rates unless she has to. My cousins other grandmother is a witch who bakes them cakes for their birthdays & stuff like that, so having a good set of grandparents is a godsend

YES! OLD PEOPLE. They are so slow and they write checks and they say "Oh here I think I got 13 cents." And then they take forever to count it out. !

I have 2 examples in grocery stores alone that relate to what you said.

1) They take ing forever to pay... and when they aren't writing checks, they are trying to figure out how to swipe their card and don't know what buttons to press, EVEN THOUGH THE MACHINE WALKS THEM THROUGH THE PROCESS

I lol'd!!! So true!!

Ugh. The train station downtown is full of them and they clog the hallways and randomly stop to look at everything.

Going through that hall under normal circumstances takes 30 seconds at most. When it's clogged with old people it takes at least 5 minutes.

Isn't there a special queue for old people in the UK?

Is it weird I'm getting a chuckle, imagining all of the senior-bashers here in 50+ years from now, complaining about the they get from disrespectful young adults when that time comes. This is so going to bite you in your fat grey-hairy asses one day.

We'll have high-performance cybernetic bodies by then, for sure. We'll be complaining about the slow young people and their fleshy limbs.

i won't complain about others if i'm obviously being the one being a douchebag. when i'm old i'm going to live it up in a senior community. it'll be like my last year in college but i'll have money foam parties and other shenanigans. i'll have else to do except have a good time since the end is near anyway.

Ah yes. Old people. I always joke with the residents' families when they come in and ask how things are going and say "Oh you know, just takin' care of the kids!" Cause that's what old people are - children.
