i just like paying cash.
no card ing up ever.
no long waits for slow debit machines.
if i want to return things it is infinitely easier.
everyone takes cash...everyone. Also with big ticket items when you pay cash you can get better deals, save on taxes and so on.
it might be rare that the card does not work, but it only takes once to really up your day and leave you ed for money until you can get a new card.
I always make sure i have at least 100 bucks cash on me at all times...bare minimum. |

They're all over the place here in Ohio. :) There's like 25 of them within 50 miles of my zip code. |

You can carry cash and still use your card, though. If it s up, you still have cash. Understand your point, though. |

Ohhh. Ohio. Ohhio?
I've been to Ohio a lot in the past few years and never saw one. Of course I wasn't looking either but you'd think it'd be one of those things that would pop out to me. |

lol. Yeah, perhaps I just have too much trust in THE MAN.
The one thing I don't like about it is when I make several purchases in a row. I don't really know how much money is really in my account... but that's just poor management on my part as far as not keeping a checkbook/register. Hasn't been a problem recently though, as I'm much better about keeping a money buffer in my account nowadays than I was a few years ago. :) Something about growing up or whatever, I dunno. Fart. |

Whereabout? Dayton is southwest-ish. I would think if they're down here, they're up in Toledo/Cleveland/Akron/etc.
Do you have family or friends that live here? |

Dayton is past Columbus, right?
I've been down in the Ohio university (Athens?) area which I think is south of Columbus, too. Hmmm. I guess I just never saw them.
Long story why I was there but I haven't been down in months so maybe they multiplied :o |

Timmy's takes Mastercard :) I love it!
I NEVER carry cash on me... I really should, but I am paranoid about losing it. At least with my cards, I always know where they are, and if one goes missing, I can just call and cancel it no problemo :)
Most places take plastic anyway. |

I'm not going to charge a bagel and a French Vanilla to a Visa. That's just stupid.
I don't usually use my credit card unless I'm shopping online or buying something pretty massive. |

Mastercard :p
I use it for EVERYTHING, and I have incredible credit. I was pre-approved for a $50,000 loan from the bank, and I don't even make that much in a year.
Seems to be working for me :D |

I found that using my credit card is faster than using my debit card nowadays. Signing a little slip is faster than punching in and waiting for approval, plus I get airmiles.
In other news... I once found a dollar bill in my snow pants I haven't worn in years. The funny thing is for those not in Canada, the dollar bill ceased to exist in the 80s.
I kept it. |
