| no kick, if you want a kick, lower the bpm and make it sound like a low heart beat imo |

What if its the buildup to an actual trance track?
Maybe a half kick(less bass/volume), then a full kick when the bassline drops? |

Add percussion instead and leave the kick out maybe? |

| ya i agree, it sounds like a great intro, slowly bring in percs and after the break pop the kick in? it's all you man, i'm sure you'll find a way to go about it |

Ok, I've been working on this and pretty happy with the break and melody, not so sure about the bass preset at the moment (anybody suggest a good phat bass patch for Zeta or IMPOSCAR? Still have some arrangement issues also and eqing could be better...
