Do you remember the controversy about Deep Dish set from "Glow @ Insomnia" 2003? Some people wrote that is from Clubland, Pacha 2003 etc... but when I listen to it again and again, I made tracklist and think that it's 99,99% true set...

Is it possible that there were two parties on Friday 23rd and Monday 26th August 2002? That source informed that is 23rd August...
Besides - World Trade Plaza in Bucharest and La Mania in Constanta... ?
That is most confused sets... I have few versions named "la mania 2002-08-23" "la mania 2002-08-26" "wtp bucharest" - 2 parts, 3 parts, 4 parts... etc... wtf?
And tracklists for them are intermeshing but not 100%... |

Global Underground presents Deep Dish Live in Bucharest, Romania WTP [World Trade Plaza] @ Propaganda ProFm it was on August 23, 2002, only once that year.
So the Propaganda party was a street party [parade] and at the end of it, in the evening, the actual concert where the guys from Deep Dish mixed in the World Trade Plaza [a performance hall in an office building https://www.birouinfo.ro/media/cach...cfdb384f05.jpeg]

Unfortunately, I can't find the flyer, although I knew about it, I saw it many years ago on a website.
So far I hope I've been pretty clear.
Yes, La Mania was in Constanta, Romania, and there they performed many progressive house DJs, I also saw many of them live, but this time August 26, 2002 is wrong, Deep Dish were only once in 2002 in Romania only for the Propaganda Parade.
So the sets circulating on the internet on August 26 are wrongly edited.
Here: http://web.archive.org/web/20021207...hts.ro/cum.html is the archive almost all events from 2002 in Romania brought by Hysteria, La Mania, TheMission and others.
Nights.Ro was a Romanian clubbing culture site, which promotes and organizes parties and where the most important news in the field were found, they also collaborated with La Mani and The Mission, organizations that brought the most important DJs in the world in Romania to mix, here: http://themission.ro/evenimente/2019/ [the site is still valid and nowadays, it is not archived] you also have an archive with TheMission where you can find flyers from the big events that are quite rare.

Next one - I had this mix in many parts cut into different pieces (length, quality and mislabeled as "La Mania" 2002-08-23, "La Mania 2002-08-26" ect.) but after many hours of editing I combined the best versions into full one.
To sum up - in the summer of 2002 Deep Dish only played in Romania once - at the World Trade Plaza in Bucharest, not at the club La Mania, all names are very mixed up.
P.S. I also encountered with the version of wrong named as La Mania 2002-08-23, which turned out to be part of the Home, Budapest (Hungary) week later (2002-08-31).

yes, there is a correct sample on google play and itunes store. That's why i've told million times to DJJEnergyRo , that i do not believe to youtube samples. Always try to find samples from online stores or to download release from torrent. |

And tell me a few cases when I made mistakes in this regard?
You don't understand that a large part of everything happened in terms of PROGRESSIVE HOUSE from 2000-2004 I already have in my collection, ripped from friends directly from Vinyl's, or in some cases DJs confirmed in private discussions the name of the tracks, I closing hundreds of topics on this forum and dozens of identifications in the Pappa archive, I could keep those answers only for myself and who wins in this case? I of course because I know the answers, simple.
I said from the beginning that a sample must be checked from at least two different sources, but when I have that track in my collection and the only sample is on YT, what do you prefer, let me tell you the name with the sample on YT or wait 10-15 years until a record company will master that track and put it on an online digital music store?
My intuition and knowledge of sounds always make me not to make mistakes and I try my best every time to check that information from several sources, as in the case of DD sets in Romania since 2002.
In some cases it is impossible for a private discussion between me and a DJ / Producer to be posted here just to prove that I am right, I try to help and this consumes a lot of my free time for me.
PS: Sometimes even DJs that I talk to and who have played some tracks agree with me because they can't remember a lot of details and information as I remember. |

the best proof is to have some track on original single cd or vinyl. I've made tracklist for Apparat;s set from Kappa festival in Torino a few years ago from all samples from online stores, Only a month ago some guy posted below youtube link with my tracklist, that one track is incorrect. I;ve checked it again and he was right, track from the same single, but another. So it was some mistake on online store and then they corrected. Of course i didn;t know it. Also can be situation that track is unreleased until it was released under another name.
Actually we are interested in tracks, which we can buy, that's why i hate all those unreleased tracks which even producers do not remember. But we can't leave empty spaces, so better to fill with some unreleased tracks which even we can't check, but to mark it somehow. Because when track is named, the search ends with it. Named incorrectly track loses chances to find correct title |
