Glow is moving back to FUR

Effective immediately, Washington, DC promotion group Panorama Productions will host its weekly Saturday night GLOW party at FUR Nightclub. After a year and a half , GLOW returns to FUR Nightclub starting this Saturday December 6th 2008 with Dutch trance sensation Menno De Jong and Chicago house legends Steve Smooth and JJ Flores.

How did this come about? Managing Partner for Glow Pete Kalamoutsos explains, “We felt that since we last worked with Fur, they as a venue and we as promoters both grew.” Fur and Panorama both agreed that working together again would be a great idea. This time around, Panorama will not only promote the night but will also manage the party. In 2008 Glow brought to the nation’s capital world renowned EDM artists such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, Sasha and John Digweed; however, Glow founder Antonis Karagounis calls the much anticipated 2009 DJ line up “our best ever”. +1... Glow == Dump
aNYthing
Glow = DC EDM Club Zombie --> nasty, scary, stinky, brutal and it just won't die. At least it's consistent (always crappy).

should be interesting to see George Acosta and ATB back to back on the 27th.

OMG no!!!

going to Ibiza totally revitalized my interest in clubbing since NYC no longer has any good venues. i preferred the overall space of Ibiza to FUR. OMGGG no more bi-level roof parties or perfectly proportioned dance space (floor vs. ceiling) =((( awesome laser and light and LED dj booth panel systems gone =(

oh mann i guess we waited TOO late to go back to Ibiza :( sigh it was sure nice while it lasted. im soo glad for the times we did go earlier this yr :(

so what becomes of Ibiza now?

People on the glow board are saying that Ibiza lost their liquor license.
zizack
never been to Ibiza, but I had a great time at Fur back in October. I still can't get over how the two clubs are literally right across the street from each other.
Greedy
we will have to see how everything pans out!

O ok

well I guess that can't be helped. That's a common reason why clubs end up closing their doors.
