yo just bought this thing.. installed the drivers etc.. but in ableton when i select Motu ASIO i get an error saying unknown error in MOTU ASIO driver. #25
also when i try to open the cuemix fx it says The device is on a bus that cannot support this transfer rate
anyone know how to solve this issue? |

maybe the internal sample rate is different from what ableton is playing back at?
re install drivers.
what os are u running with what driver issued for that system?
good luck, dont worry you will get it to work just keep digging at the prob.
i had an issue where the ultralite would have a spaz whilst in ableton with a digital craklin noise for a brief time.
after doing things i figured out that i had installed a wirless card in my desktop about couple months prior. i decided to disable the internet when producing and the prob went away.
comps are funny things! |

Is the ultralite the new mrk3?
try setting your live preferences up as the following,,
driver type: ASIO
audio device: MOTU Audio Asio
channel configuration: input & outputs set to 11 & 12
your master channel has to be set to channels 11/12 on a pc! to send the audio output to the monitors. |

no its the original ultralite |

Thats fine then,, try what I suggested as the outputs in live must be set to output via 11/12 not 1/2 on the ultralite. |

when i click on MOTU Audio ASIO i get that error "An unknown error occurred in the MOTO ASIO driver.#25"
when i click ok it just reverts it to no device |

Have you installed the latest drivers from motu? when you boot your pc you must also fire up the ultralite at the same time for the interface to be recognized.
when you have the ul switched on does the led read meter 44? ie the selected sample rate. |

yes ive downloaded the latest drivers from the motu website and the latest firmware..
i tried ur turning it on together still isnt working.
yes the sample rate is set to 44 |

Ok,, is live your only audio app? do you have reason for example? the old problem with firewire audio interfaces on a pc in the past were that you needed a ti(texas instruments) firewire port to avoid clicks and pops etc.
In your live audio preferences:
click on hardware set'up,, the motu audio console general tab will pop up.
sample rate: 44100
clock source: internal
I have the sample buffer set to 128
enable multi channel wave synchronization(recommended) box checked.
driver 3.6.7.4
ultralite tab: main outs & phones main outs 1-2
firmware 1.15, hardware 1.01 |
