The Goldman and Brown families are clearly better than I am. After he got off for murder, I'd have taken OJ out myself or hired someone to do it.
seriously. |
The Brown family is still outraged actually. And publicly flipped when they heard that the Goldman family had forgiven OJ and were helping him with the book. |

are you ting me??? :eyes:
it would be one thing if that piece of garbage publicly admitted his guilt, but wtf?!?
there was a great special on various genocide situations, and profiling those who sought to prevent/contain them, on CNN last night called "Scream Bloody Murder". At the very end, they looked at some cases of reconciliation...for e.g. the killers facing traditional village courts, admitting in great detail what they did, seeking forgiveness, etc. quite interesting.

edit: where did you read/hear about this...cause now the Goldman family (at least the father and sister) were happy about him being imprisoned here. |

It was all over the news when the book was about to come out. I'll see if I can find any sources. I know the Goldman's at the very least did commentary for the book

Goldman family defends publication of ‘If I Did It’
Ron Goldman’s father, sister say O.J. Simpson punished by book’s release

Ron Goldman's father and sister are defending their decision to publish O.J. Simpson's infamous "If I Did It" book, saying the book had to be published for legal reasons, and doing so gives them the first victory in the 11 years since a civil jury found the former NFL star-turned-actor liable for the murder of Goldman and Simpson's ex-wife. |

There's a link to a video with the Goldman family on the right. And just below it there's a link to a video with Nicole's sister being really pissed off about their decision.
The stuff about the donations to a charity it turns out was a decision by Borders (aka Chapters, Borders and Indigo bookstores)

weird.
So Kim Goldman, Ron's sister, contributed a commentary...yet she and the father were the ones saying they were happy at this recent outcome.
:conf:
wiki knows everything too:
"On March 13, 2007, a judge prevented Simpson from receiving any further compensation from a canceled book deal and TV interview. He ordered the bundled book rights to be auctioned.[19] In August 2007, a Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the book to the Goldman family to partially satisfy an unpaid civil judgment. The book was renamed If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer, and comments were added to the original manuscript by the Goldman family, author Pablo Fenjves, and prominent investigative journalist Dominick Dunne.[20]"
so it seems they did it after OJ was removed from the equation...presumably to tell their side.
I wonder if he's going to 'celebrity jail' or a real jail. if it's a real jail, does this mean he goes from being a running back to a receiver? :wtf: |

In the article I posted they were saying how they felt the book need to be published b/c it showed how the justice system was successful. :conf: :conf: I don't get that. In this case, I guess they're happy for the same reason.
My guess is that he'll be going to regular jail, but will likely be put in solitary. |
