ok so still buzzed, attempt at a review...

came in glenn was banging a narayan bootleg, played some wicked techy prog, heard some of the following tracks

born slippy ??? rmx/bootleg
the droyds - all i ever wanted (dusty kid rmx)
zoo brazil - songs for trash (at circa next saturday!!!!)
streetlife djs - queen machine (last track)

sander killed it - vague tracklisting including

sander vs robbie williams - close my eyes
sam sharp - roundabout
deadmau5 - clockwork (cosmic gate rmx i think)
sander van doorn - look inside your head (club edit?)
one republic - apologize (SVD rmx)

i was high-fiving all over the place
saw v-vaughn, attempted high-five but she didn't notice :(
didn't know what love_child looks like
you will both have to accept digital high-fives i'm afraid

so many good tracks, incredible night, didn't stop dancing, more in the morning

I was there for a bday and to see TAs I hadn't seen in a while, smucky and orko where were you bastards? :P

All I can say is Madagascar!!! Glad to hear it wasn't remixed into oblivion like most...I still like the Ferry mix imo, I guess it was a lead into Carte Blanche!! Again remixed but still retained the cool/better parts imo, the rest...meh. There was one tune Sander dropped that made me go 'wow', probably one of his productions but don'tknow the name, wow. :D

All in all good night. :)

Sander in Koolhaus > Sander in Guv

He played good, really good! But nothing like he does when he plays Koolhaus! Talking with him after I asked him which place he preferred... he said has always wanted to play at Guvernment (Main room), as so many dj's aspire to do.!

Kudos Guv! World Class?... BOOYAH!

Still, his set didn't even compare to his Rum Runners set last year, or his LoL set either (or was it guv 11 year? idk). Played a little to light in main room Guv, but played appropriate tracks that were meant for that club! Very happy with his performance, he was loving it, nothing really negative to say besides he wasn't your typical Sander which made him what he is today. Great job, was cool to hang out with after he was done, but he didn't care much to talk to Oz and I... even if we were the only drunken bastards around at the time :p
ÖZmözis
that bastard didn't play Eden...

... but he was good...

Holy ... what a wicked night! The tunes were outta this world and I'm glad to have met many from TA. I got so much video I'll have to see how it turned out. As many of you know I was up with Sander getting his set in on video and I believe I've got about 1.5 hours of it. Sander was awesome too. I was chillin' with him after his set and he's looking forward to seeing what I took. He's really a down to earth guy and it was a pleasure talking/hanging with him. I asked how he like Guv and he said he really loved the place!

+1000000 for Guv!

Well gotta sleep now (if I can... so hyped up) and I'll post some pics when I get up. Then I'll start on the editing of the video and I hope I don't take too long. It will be worth the wait I'm sure. If all goes well Shaya proposed that we put our videos together which would also be sweet... so stayed tuned.

Thanks to Guv and Rob Woo at Spin Inc. for making this possible. And especially thanks to Sander for arranging everything with Guv and Spininc.ca to allow me to video this event!

I think I might have been like the only guy who thought SvD was meh.

A little too trancey, a little too cheesy, a little too predictable...
And a little too boring.

More thoughts later

Tune of the Night: TDR - Squelch (SvD remix)

I got there around 3:30 and he was playing some flakey stuff but he really picked it up shortly afterwards.

Loved hearing stoneface/terminal - pictures on the guv system. I'm sure its probly played out at guv by now but I don't get there very often.
