...so while in Poland, I decided to take my wife and go visit Armin-Only show. This was going to be first AO edition in Poland (hopefully not the last one..). Before I flew to Poland, I was able to get the deluxe tickets which gave us access to more places in the arena plus few extra goodies... Since I already saw 2 AO shows in Holland, i had high expectations for the Polish version of this show. The show was sold out, as expected. From what i've heard, the arena itself could hold about 8000.
Besides the AO show, Armin also had a pre-party in a classy club/restaurant "Habana" on friday the 28th.
We arrived at the arena around 9:30, and Armin was already playing behind the white curtain (just like his other AO shows). We had a separate entrance, and access to most areas in the arena. I was surprised that they weren't checking us for anything. I could have walked in with a SLR camera or a camcorder and nobody would care. Full catering and free alcohol was also included, as well as an access to chillout room backstage. (I saw Susana , & Jennifer Renee passing through there at one point..) The best part was the access to an elevated area with a superior view at the stage. The show design in the arena met my expectations; everything was just like in the other AO shows in Holland. I must say, that nothing was left out. The sound system was incredible (day before the show I heard lots of sound coming from the arena, as they were testing the sound system and making sure everything is to perfection). The show itself was off the roof. Lots and lots of production and effort was made for this polish edition of AO. It was nice to see again live Eller van Buuren, Audrey Gallagher, Chris Jones, Benno de Goeij (RANK 1), Susana, Jennifer Renee. I liked that the organization did not over-sold the tickets; there was plenty of space to dance on the main floor. At one point Armin took this huge polish flag and started waving it to the crowd, everyone went crazy. We stayed till the moring light; thank god our hotel was 1 minute from the arena
This was my wife's first AO show and she absolutely loved it.
As per Armin's press conference in Poland, Armin Only show on Dec 31st in Los Angeles is going to be the last one. No other AO shows are planned until at least 2010 (around the time when his new album will come out..). He also said he will cut down his shows to spend more time in the studio.

When i used to live there, nobody knew what trance was. We used to listen to scooter.
Im originally from Bydgoszcz, where Entrance was hosted. Maybe ill go for that or Sunrise festival next year.

absolutely. trance is huge in Poland. every top DJ wants to play in Poland right now. From parties like Sensation, Sunrise festival, Godskitchen, Trance Explosion (polish trance energy),Creamfields PL, Beach party Gdynia, Nature One PL, Global gathering PL, Stadium-of-Sound, the list goes on and on..
