Once upon a time in a far-off enrollment program known as DODDS, we were ferried around the countryside in Charter buses to RAF Feltwell - basically an old AF base that was 40 minutes from RAF Lakenheath's residence - so, long drive each day. We were required to have an ID on us at all times and on numerous occasions, I would forget/destroy mine, which meant a [somewhat] temporary suspension from the bus. Seriously, because I didn't have my ID, my mom had to drive me to school every day for several weeks. She wasn't mad, though - she was just disappointed.
The charter buses were interesting though - all the Essex turns and bumps made the back seats extremely exciting, as you'd fly 4 feet in the air upon the slightest jar. What was most fun however, was that the system used a sort of bus number rotation, so you'd get one driver with his own bus one day, and a totally different one the next. Always interesting was the porn guy - there was a nook in his bus, just across from the middle staircase/bathroom, that was filled to the brim with magazines and videotapes - even a television and VCR down there. He had a lot of material, most of which was either black or interracial, which was slightly odd considering he was a fat, old, white limey with about 4 teeth in his head. |

| That reminds me. When I was little (about 8), my mom took us out to the old Hell's Angels clubouse to look around after they had abandoned it. Well there was this old school bus, and the whole thing was littered with porno magazines, like ankle deep. There were also porno magazines all over the the clubhouse. We took a bunch home in garbage bags. My mother was clearly not a suitable parent. |

Lol, I did most most of my homework in the bus, even though the ride was only about 15 mins. Anyway, one station along the way was at a graveyard, so lots of old people entered and asked me to get up. Some day I figured I could pretend to be asleep in the morning so they would ask somebody else. :stongue:

My school van ruled!
I'd record mix tapes and we'd go to school listening to all sorts of EDM (well, no one else liked gabber, but the diversity of music I could play was quite wide). I used to sleep on the lap of quite a few hot girls on the back seat, and we'd often take turns, so they'd sleep on my lap quite often as well.

In HS my city exploded in size, so we had all these new kids at my school...but not enough room on the buses for them. So for almost a year we were sitting 3 in a seat sometimes, with the occasional person standing at the back. There were so many people that got off at my stop that those of us who sat at the back couldn't wait...so we'd always crack the emergency exit and take off. Our bus driver ing hated us, lol. In winter we used to stuff our pockets with snow and have snowball fights, haha. |
