i hope this is not a repost or that I'm just telling you something you already know. I apologize in advance for this but i just thought i'd help you out. I was in class today and a friend of mine told me about the ny state unclaimed funds website and i went to it put in my last name to see if i had any. I did not, however my father, brother, sister in law, and sister's father inlaw all had unclaimed funds.
just go to the website and put in your last name you dont even have to put in the city. check for your name and see if you have any unclaimed assets. i didnt though, maybe you guys will have some luck
