Okay, so last week i was putting in the order for a M-Audio Oxygen 49. However, at the last minute i found out i could get a M-audio keystation 49e for 50 dollars less ($70 as opposed to $120).
Now, i looked at the differences which is basically faders and knobs, and while that is something i think is important 50 dollars for just that is not worth it. However, i am not sure if there is a major difference in the feel of the keys.
So, is there a substantial difference in feel of the keys, or anything else i should keep in mind? Any comments in talking me through this would be great. |

I hate to bump this thread but, since the M-audio keystation 49e is discontinued i can't try it out anywhere. Also, the oxygen isn't at my local guitar center.
I just want to know if there is a difference in the keys between the two models?
Any opinions would be nice. |

| hi i own both. keystation es took a lot to "break in" the plastic keys. i have a 61 and it works ok. the oxygen feels nicer right out of the box and its always nice to have things to assign to :) makes music a lot more fun |

| If you are going for the feel I would go for the M-Audio Axiom 49 a little more expensive |

| Indeed, after testing out all the stuff I went for the axiom 49 and I got a whole ton of knobs/pads and stuff which is quite useful and well worth it too. |
