| Is mixing just something you pick up over time or is it something you learn?? Is Djing just something you learn how to do ultimately??? Any-1 have any Idea let me know :D.. |

u can learn.. go to "dj school".. but that is a bit expensive and all.. just keep playin ... and u'll get there.. |

yea.. it's not an actually school like clown college =)
but there's dj tutorials in cities around the world.... there was one recently here in melbourne but i didn't go... it just teaching you the art of beat matching, mixing techniques yadiyadiyada.. think of it more as a workshop... the kinda thing that goes for 2 or 3 days! |

oh okay... hehe but it would still be kinda funny to see private Djing lessons (i remember, some guy from here said this girl he met on a chat was taking Djing lessons as if they were piano lessons)

| DJ lessons ... that's really sad ... kind of makes you realize how bastardized the complete concept of DJ culture has become. I have always believed that you should teach yourself how to spin because only that way you will develop a unique personal style. Not that it is very hard or anything ... I suppose it does take some natural talent but hey - if you don't have that no DJ lessons will make you anything more than a sub-par DJ at best. |

We copied it from america :D
But i think practice is the main thing and try to learn what other dj's do.. dont copy it.. but "listen" to it like you never did before.. listen with a different view.. |
