Last year in Sander Kleinenberg's essential mix, a couple of tracks I still couldn't figure out or at least find any where.....
the second track (according to radio one's tracklist) was called Somone say groove - we beg your pardon america (no such release) a later track says unknown - unknown (white label) still can't figure it out.... same thing happened with Cass & Slide's essential mix (track three) some tracks are just unfindable!!!!
so now a year later.... i ask anybody if he has info on this issue..... are DJ's faking their tracklists to illude us????? |

| well sometimes it might be a long time before a track is released. and there are white labels with no writing.. eh, i'm still looking for Deepfunk and Austin Leeds - Subritual on a essentail mix from last year with no luck .. though it is on a mix cd.. |

"the 4th track is actually: Lunic and Freddy Valerio - "Beg Your Pardon America" and is an accapella over tracks 3 & 5. finally it seems as if one of the tracks from 9-12 should actually be in between 5&8 cuz there is an extra track in there and one too many between 8&13"

he doesnt spin trance at all...spins mainly house, tribal & progressive |

he'll drop the occasional trance track too. and he's produces some awesome trancers. "my lexicon" being a notable example. and he's remixed a few too...
they guy has bucketloads of talent. :) |

Progressive... You can't call Kleinenberg 'Trance'. It really is progressive. He is on the GU Nu Breed series, that is progressive..

Starting off back in 1987, aged 15 in The Hague and playing everything from rock to dance, the Dutchman Sander Kleinenberg’s talents have certainly progressed. Discovering production in 1991, his first releases include tracks for Belgium’s Wonka, and Germany’s Superstition labels, and he can also lay claim to having one of the few European releases on New York’s Strictly Rhythm imprint.
At home, residencies include Asta in the Hague and Amsterdam clubs Mazzo, Chemistry and the now defunkt ROXY, in addition to playing all the big festivals such as Lowlands, Dance Valley and New Frontier. Abroad, his repuation is as solid, playing venues from The Rex in Paris and Space in Ibiza. With acclaimed hits My Lexicon, and the 4 Seasons EP he has since gone on to remix the likes of Oliver Lieb, Destiny’s Child and Junkie LX.

uberclkgtr: i wasn't able to identify the pmq dj tools one.... maybe there is a track (chillout one) Between hornbostel and anterra i suspect it is that one..... track 12 is unknown..... i can't get that either..... 5-->8 seems right....
the third track in cass n slide is really impressive... i didn't like the other tracks but i liked that one..... |

oh sorry orison, i wasn't clear. i meant the cass n' slide remix of "my lexicon". not to impressed with that. the cass n' slide essential mix rocked out. :)
i'll try to listen to this sander k em sometime today and see if i can help out. i've got another sander k set from 2001 (club eau) sitting here that i have to listen to as well...trying to help with track ids on that too. so it looks like i'm 100% sander k today! :D |

funny you should mention that pqm "dj tools" track. i just (this minute) opened up a shipment from yooshi containing the "you are sleeping" promo, and low-and-behold it contains a track labelled "pqm's dj tool". when i get home tonight i'll toss this on the turntable and see if it matches sander's track #10. word.
hmmm, somebody should dump this thread in the tracklists forum. waddya think? |
