Good clubs in Quebec City?

Would be going the weekend after new years....I thought Dagobert was the place I was going to head to, but after checking the calender and seeing the events were mostly hip-hop and top 40, I think I changed my mind.
Any good clubs to check out there for house/techno music? |

well if you stay on monday too you have Le Cercle on rue st-joseph. Its quite small but those nights, they have djs invited and they play some great techno i think.
There is also the Sonar where from 22h to 3h there is house and depp-house music.
And as you said the dagobert is one of the hot place in this town. On saturday you have Marco G who plays house. But its sure that at the Dagobert, you will hear a little bit more of commercials songs... |

well...maybe i will go then.
i've been there once before a while back when i was much younger and i loved it. but i'm not sure i'd enjoy listening to top 40 today man. i really despise clubs with music i'm not into. |

| terminal the after hours club there is also pretty good .. open till 9 am i believe ? The dag would be such an amazing club here in toronto .. because people didnt want to understand our language it had fallen very short of the experience the guvernment delivers on a weekly basis ! |

Dagobert (Thursday nights are Techno/Trance/Minimal/Electro nights)
These are for good electronic music.
As for the others, if you feel like you want to hear some top 40 music but MIXED with underground electronic music, Beaugarte is nice too.
EDIT : I forgot about the Boudoir. Friday nights there are awesome :P |

Lauren Barbeau, one of the guys behind the Black Light raves in Quebec, is now in charge of Thursday nights at Dagobert. You can expect some quality EDM sound there on Thursday.
For your information, James Holden will be playing there on Thursday January 29th.
