Amidst the big crowd, didn't get a chance to check in (our out) with lots of the TA's at the event, but, needless to say, I had a great time...and was thrilled to see such a huge reponse to the gritty, hard-driving progressive being played all night in the main room by Zack, Keryn, and Jason. Caught a good part of Alexis, Dani, and Aaron's sets as well...and I thought they all did a great job pegging the right sound for the room and building off each other's energy.

Wow, Frank, so glad you're ok.

wow, what a night :)

Thank you so much to all who came to Pacha this past Friday!!

I was shocked and also pleasently surprised by the amount of list requests for the event as well as with the support throughout the night.

When I started dj'ing at the age of 14, I would leave the house to go to school, hide in the back yard of my house and wait for my mom to leave for work, then sneak back into the house and dj all day long with dreams of one day walking down the street and hearing someone playing one of my dj mixes from there car as they drove by. LOL I was absent from school 54 times that year! (but somehow still managed to graduate on time :conf:).

Some years later during my days at Rutgers I was doing a lot of local events as well as some gigs on the rave circuit. I used to dj in my room for hours and hours every day, with the dream of one day headlining a big NYC venue.

My passion has brought me to places which have far exceeded my dreams and expectations. And every time I play in NYC I am literally living a dream. The support that you guys have given me on this forum throughout the years is extremely appreciated. Friday night was so much fun and I really can't thank all of you enough!!

Zack & Keryn played a really great opening set and I see some big things in there near future. I was in the basement for a little bit before my set and the basement was bumping as well, Dani Lehman was laying it down :) Of course during my set I wasn't able to see what was going down in the basement but I heard great things and I heard that all of the dj's played really great sets.

Pacha is extremely happy with all aspects of the night so I'm sure that we will be doing it again sometime in the distant but hopefully not so distant future :)

Here are some video's of the night that I just grabbed off of Youtube. Once again, thank you so much!! :)

Woops, forgot to comment on the rest of the night. Walked in at around 11, and checked out the basement. Alexis played a great opening set, lots of Dirtybird style stuff. And, she's definitely one of the most animated/entertaining dj's I've seen in a while, can really tell she's enjoying herself.

Speaking of dj's who enjoy themselves, Dani ROCKED.it down there. Like always, she was playing some crazy basslines, and had the crowd really moving.

At around 1215, headed up to hear Zack + Keryn playing to what was suddenly a very nicely filled mainfloor. Great music like always, and warmed things up perfectly for Jason.

Jason, you were an animal! Seriously one of the best sets I have heard in a while. I planned to leave around 130...I stayed until after 4, haha. Couldn't believe how hard you played near the end...was a very pleasant surprise indeed.

Made it downstairs to hear a little bit of Romi, who played really well. Caught Aaron too, who was dropping techno BOMBS down there, haha. Seriously man, great .

Oh, and thanks for the concern guys, I'm totally fine. :)

I had a great time for the little time I was there. was a little freaked out walking in hearing hip hop.. thankfully it was closed off.

anyways.. i had fuked up my back earlier in the week and it was better by friday. But? as i was walking to Pacha - I must have tensed up from the cold and completely ed my upper back even more. i had to leave cuz the pain was unbearable and had tiger balm on it ALL weekend. ugh - old age.

sorry 4 leaving early but I couldn't jam out nor move my head an inch!

I had a damn blast the entire night! Got to play a few of my favorites I have been waiting to play for years.

Zack & Keryn did an incredible job opening up that big room, STOP was immense in there. My friends who are not big edm fans and even my girlfriend were raving about how much they liked the music.

I headed down to catch the end of Dani's set which was some bombbbbbbs. As she got off the decks I told her she wouldn't be easy to follow. The basement was jumping all night and I loved seeing the giant circle form as I was playing haha.

Jason I didn't catch much of your set, but from what I heard, it was very solid. Much appreciated for having Core on with you!

Great seeing the Philly crew!

To another good one!

Great night, definitely worth the trip. Jason destroyed pacha, great programming and tracks selection. Zack and Keryn as usaul setup the night perfectly.

The basement had a really good crowd, and all the dj's did a great job to keep them there.

It was nice meeting a lot you guys again. I can't wait for the next one.
