I had discussed Tiesto with them briefly about a month and a half ago when they first told me they were coming to visit, but we hadn't talked about it since then. I was mostly upset because they're coming to New York for New Years (albeit one of the cooler places in the world on this day) and made a decision to go somewhere without consulting me. I was like gd, lol, couldn't you have called me BEFORE making such an expensive purchase?! Yikes!

Nah, I would never eff them over. If we get stuck at Pacha, well, I'll be stuck there with them. And I'll have a good time because it's my dear friends. I did ask them for permission to try and sell their tickets.
Anyone want to buy 3 tix for NYE at Pacha? :)
I called Pacha to see if there were any solutions they could give me since the tickets are probably non-refundable. I was thinking that maybe they would be willing to apply the money towards something else, such as a table for Markus Schulz. They said they couldn't do that because the tickets come from somewhere else. So I'm going to try and contact them. And other than that I guess I'll try and sell them or it looks like I'll be at Pacha for the ball dropping. Bummer. |

tell me again why they chose to spend NYE at what is surely going to be a overcrowded tiny space like PACHA with a so-so lineup when Tiesto/Caldeone for 24 hrs at Roseland defniitely looks more fun and a better way to ring in the New Year? Even VIP at Pacha doesn't excite me. :rolleyes:
daaams i certainly don't have $$$ to drop like that. but if i had it would have definitely gone to Tiesto/Roseland. |

I hear that right before the ball drops for the new year, all the meat heads take their shirts off and do a fist pump for the countdown. But you probably won't have to worry. You'll have your 2 feet of personal space crammed against the wall (or sandwiched between several overally intoxocated individuals) and will see nothing but the back of peoples heads and strobes. :toothless
Are the tickets non-refundable?
If you want to take a real chance, they will probably be jacking the prices up at the door on NYE, so you could probably sell your tickets outside the club at whatever discounted price you paid, then come to Tiesto.

Hitting dead ends everywhere I turn here. Apparently they bought 4 tickets for this. AND they're willcall. There's no way I'm going to be able to get rid of those.
I called Pacha, they said they were unable to apply that money to another event because the tickets came from somewhere else, clubtickets. I sent them an e-mail but haven't received a response yet.
Oh well. I guess the only solution at this point is to go to Pacha and stay until 1 when open bar ends, then head over to Sullivan Room. Now that I'm looking forward to!
Zack, do you have any information on Sullivan Room for afterhours? I know you're playing, who else is? And any idea on how much it is or if there's a gl? |
