I really can not stand unions. They end up just making companies pay more for that they shouldn't have to.

China is going to come in and buy up all the American companies. Were all soon to be owned by them anyway. Might want to start picking up the language at this point. Hostile country takeover :wtf: |
A US company can not have more than 25% foreign ownership. ;) |

Hell at that rate, I'm sure they have already acquired that 25%. |

not sure where you heard that, but foreign investors can own 100% of a US domestic corporation in most situations. There might be restrictions in highly regulated industries such as air transportation, telecom, and energy, but for the most part foreigners are free to own as much as they want. |

| On the drive to work this morning while hearing 680 news I think I heard something along the lines of that if the Oshawa plant workers do a complete pay cut for the next whole year it will keep GM open for only 11 days :wtf: |

Chrysler already got bailed out once in the 80's and their savious was the K-Car and minivan. Useful cars for the times (although they were complete ).
Why should the gov't foot the bill again? |

You know, they should let Detroit die. Even twice, if necessary.
I'm sure its death is going to spawn a new wave of techno music. This time around, however, robots from the bankrupt industries will produce the music themselves, giving birth to a harsher, colder, fuller sound, that can't be compared to the flaming music produced by a bunch of black gay guys playing with knobs in Belleville... and that's going to eventually kill Eminem.
Awesome, huh? |
