where there is demand, there is supply
I don't think they should be punished THAT severely - some people are just naturally crafty.. I know it's unfair (I personally paid $60K+ for my 4 years in York as an international student), but ce la vie..
you guys would shocked if you lived in Russia or any other post-Soviet country.. people buy degress/driver's licenses/PhD degrees left and right like there's no tomorrow |

Nope, but we are shocked that it is happening here. That is part of the reason people live here, and trust the people who live here. We have standards that are verified. Same happens in India, that is why post-secondary education is useless some developing countries.
Let's keep the phony degrees in developing countries, and keep our standards high. Throw the bums in jail, and make a simple little website stating who has bought one of these certificates. |

I would agree. The educational system that is.
If all you have is a fake university degree and your employers can't tell, it probably means people aren't taught at university what they're required to know at work.

that's complete ing bull. so they guy who buys/obtains fake ID shouldn't be at all held accountible, if caught...only the guy who made/sold it?
that's *absurd*
and it's 100% irrelevant if the degree is "necessary" to do the job.
the applicant knowingly misrepresented themselves on their resume/application and KNOWINGLY engaged in illegal behaviour by purchasing fraudulent documentation.
they should therefore be punished accordingly. end of story. |

no doubt they should be punished
but locked up is pushing it...
if they're doing it, it's because they CAN
if they CAN, there will ALWAYS be people doing it
if 'professionals' would go through the trouble of verifying authenticity
they COULD NOT forge ANYTHING
there's a reason why archives exist: to be put to use
if the people who should be doing it don't do it
i would fire them and charge them as accomplices

egocentric etymologically defined relates the self with a revolving point
once you have begun to fully comprehend the extent of the previous explanation,
and only then, will you be able to establish a relation between it
and the word fashion
fashion in this context wouldn't require a definition
as it is synonymous to many other simple concept words
such as "way"
