This mix is all about the deep dub reggae influenced techno that starts out reeeallly slow and chill (118bpm) and moves into some more experimental dubtech. Its the result of the past couple afterparties I've been to here in Chicago, dancing around in the early morning hours and raging well past the sun coming up. For me, the afterhours are all about deep dubby techno grooves contrasted with bits of funk and that's what I tried to bring through with this mix. This mix also features quite a bit of talent from Boston, chiefly from the Soul Clap guys who have stepped up their production to amazing heights.
