I decided to come out after some very light arm twisting by smunky, I wanted to go out, just needed a push. In 7 years of going to the Guv, I had never been to a MO solo night, so I decided, it was about damned time.

Guestlist was barely moving, hell neither was the other line, which was a surprise with Guv's attendance lately, but i stuck it out. Good job Guv on the food for charity, but if you are going to do something like this, don't end the charity part at midnight. I was a bit annoyed that I had to pay cover, when we were told it was going to be free.

Highlight of the night was definitely all the fantastic people out last night, old and new. Saw some of my fav old schoolers, all of whom had the same look on their faces 'wtf is going on, and who are all these people?". LOL. In the end, everybody, new, old, TA's, regular Guvers, all partied together, the way it is supposed to happen. Amazing vibe, which helped create a real party atmosphere. Top notch.

MO impressed me on Saturday night, first time ever. The way he played old tunes, with new remixes, and some old was fantastic. He also kept the newer clean, twichy sound that has infiltrated house/tech/trance, in order to keep the night fresh, and not just like a copy of Clubber's Guide to Trance. So, it was great hearing loads of oldies, with the modern vibe. His mixing was great, although sometimes it sounded a bit forced, or obvious, usually when he lowered the pitch to slow down the crowd. I wasn't too fond of the last two hours, as I have heard most of those tracks just too many times. I understand that is what the crowd wanted, and he gave it to them, no faults there.

The Guv was very nicely decorated, the crowd was awesome, it never got to hot (barely broke out the towel), and the sound was clean. I've only heard the guv speakers sound like that on a few occasions, only usually only when an int comes in to tweak it them selves. Nice highs, balanced lows, and good volume.

Pretty good night, not as great as last year's but still a kick ass event. Got there around 1 and was annoyed I couldn't use my canned good.. oh well. main room was up and down... i liked how he went back and forth between house beats and epic trance, though it did fail completely at some points leaving everyone standing around. i did enjoy the pure trance part of the night from 6-7am before i left... manzone & strong had the gallery ROCKED when i was there. acid lounge was bumping too.

was a great night to go out and celebrate.. thanks to everyone who wished me happy b-day :D

Mark and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our night out. We got there just after midnight and called it a night around 4am. I think a few other people have mentioned that it is just hard to hold out all night long these days. I just couldn't make it any longer. Although MO was playing some great tunes, I just couldn't get into it as much as I did a couple years back. I am sure if I had held out longer than 4am I would have been in complete glory with the music, but maybe next year I will have to better prepare myself for a full 7 hours of dancing, haha.

but the main thing was seeing people that i haven't seen in ages (jenn ;)).

This really made my night seeing you, Mikey, Bobby, Scott, AJ, Shaya, Ben, Gera and some of the other old school TA's. I haven't seen you guys in what feels like years now and it is always a ton of fun partying with you. :D It was nice to meet some of the new faces as well. :)

I had a good laugh when I saw 5 plus ppl carrying Vdub on a couch and start singing happy birthday, when all of this sudden the snow dancing girl completed a 6 foot swan dive right onto Vdub. I was killing myself laughing. Tuneage was comme ce comme ca IMO. There were times I couldn't stop dancing. I agree the Santa the Guve hired looked like he wasn't having a good time at all.

My god...

I remember a quarter of that...
