Hey guys,
I got a pair of used Pioneer CD players.. Both are in great condition, but the LED lights for one of the players arent working. Looks like its burnt out.. Keeps doing a funny flash thing.

I was thinking to get them both refurbished just to be on the safe side in all aspects, but i dont if it will be worth it.
I am just worried that they will fail on me during a set one day, so better safe than sorry.

Any of you guys ever bought refurbished products? Is it legit? Do they really make it just as new?
Tom Scott
No personal experience but i shouldn't think a company like Pioneer would deliberately give back refurbished goods they know will not work.
Emvy
no definetely not, but there are so many authorized REPAIR stores that refurbish it themselves and give it back to you. Thats what im asking about. I would totally trust Pioneer, but just asking you guys about any others

i'm getting my cdj-200's refurbed soon from an authorized repair place in calgary

they've seen a lot of club use and they're starting to get a little wonky

as long as the place is authorized you should be fine

Hey Tony,
So when you ref. it, that basically means its going to be as new right? kinda.
Tony Morello
essentially, they replace worn parts with new ones

Yeah I did same thing to real old Technics turntable I have for normal listening of tracks. Came back like it was brand new and all since burnt motor and wore other parts out. They even clean up outside to make look shiney to.

The turntable in question was Technics Sl-DL1 direct drive automatic turn table system. That I stole from my parents when I moved out and all and if remember right they got some time in the 80's. They had will over 5,000 hours on that turntable before I stole it from them. Here is photo of it. The servo went bad on it. Even I have it hooked up to real old Pioneer sound project model 300 I also stole from them that even older then the turntable. Even stole Yamaha R-700 receiver from em to lol
