99 quid is it worth getting az i have still not got an Audio Interface!??
I dont wanna spend much more then 12 quid if there are alternatives!
I have an Intel mac!! |

| Are you on a laptop or desktop? If you're on a laptop and can install a PCI card, M-Audio Audiophile 2496 is your best bet for $100. Otherwise, I'd look for other firewire interfaces if you don't need the mic or 'control room' interface. |

The 2496 is only about 50 quid and while that is a great deal for the onyx do you need those portability features? It is a great deal though and thing used to retail for a LOT more - It's a decent piece of kit with nice features. |

| For the money and what it does it's a good buy. I know a Grammy nominated trance producer who uses one, not that it should matter but I hope that helps you making your decision. |
