Maybe it's just me, but I really don't get the beef everyone has with Sound-Bar. I've been there quite a few times over the years and always had at least a decent time. I've never been hassled by anyone and have no issues with any employees. Maybe it's because I respect their dress code and employees and act like an adult, I don't know.
I've had limited experiences at Crobar due to the generally disappointing times I've had there. Their staff is poorly managed and seems intent on furthering their agendas and exercising their "power" when and how they see fit. I've been forced into purchasing extra bottles, paying higher than advertised cover even when on a list, and threatened to be kicked out due to my arm brushing a meathead security failure on the dancefloor. The place is all about looks, status, money, and "being seen to be seen." If that's your thing, then by all means go for it.
Just don't forget your sunglasses. |

... and the trannies! I pretty much agree.. never had a bad time at Soundbar (Sven and JZ were both legendary shows), they just usually don't bring in DJs I want to see :/ |

| Sven was a great time. Hoepefully he'll come back to Chicago before Ibiza starts up again. Anyone see Armand live? Any reviews? |

Last night sucked. It was terrible. His music was all ove rthe place. I've waited a long time for him to come to Chicago. I sould stayed at home in my warm house. It is safe to say that I'll never go see him spin again.
