| im not using IE 7.0 and my firefox hasnt worked properly since i installed my firewall lol. whats my 3rd option, netscape navigator? i used to use that over IE when i began using the internet because I liked the avatar. :gsmile: |

Uninstall firefox and reinstall it.
There is also:
Opera, Safari (for windows), Chrome (mentioned above) Flock
+more
Obviously you're not on a Mac (you mentioned ie7)
But there is:
Firefox, Safari, Camino, Omniweb + more |

| thanks, ya i did the uninstall thing. no go. loads SUPER Slow. id say back to the 28.8 dial up days. i'll try the opera. |

Check your proxy settings?
Sometimes my time warner(cable) gets real slow, I reset (unplugged my cable modem) and POW!

maybe your firewall/security program has a web link scanner. Which basically scans every single thing you do in the browser and slows it down to a snails pace. |
