1) It only sounded like because your original sample sounded like
2) how can something be "twice as slow" - all tracks are the same length, so if you had some re-buffering that is not my problem, the interface and functionality is working fine
Lighten up, you'll live longer - all your posts are negative lately. |

Hmmm dunno if this is just happening to me Swamper
but whenever I click to ID, does not matter what sample it is, I get taken to the same page everytime and that thread is this one
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...?threadid=51025
And when I click the link to say it's not the sample I heard, it just goes back to the same sample that's on that thread with the link above.

| Streaming works for me with Real Player 8.8 Basic and IE 5, but IDing isn't working. When I click to ID (for any clip), it won't take me to a thread. Instead, I see "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster," and when I click the play button of the RP on that page, the only thing I get is a warning from RealPlayer saying "Currently AutoUpdate has no plug-in available to play your selection." |

It is an mp3 stream.
However Real Player is used because it is the ONLY player that can:
1) be embedded as an object within a webpage
2) support javascript calls to control playback |

in my IE 5.5 real player work, but without info of track and my netscape 4.7 real player dont work, but the info is displayed (atleast i see who posted it)
The button still DONT work in both browsers. :(
Really the streaming tracks need to be developed better.

Dunno how much work it would be or if it is even possible but...
Does Winamp 3 support the webpage interaction?? Winamp comes with that Mini-browser, maybe that would be the answer.

Your setup has issues somewhere... it has nothing to do with being 'developed' betther - you're the first I've heard that has any problems, any computer/browser combo I try it on, it works....
Also, Netscape is crap. |
