indeed. I mean: They Always Come Back, Mulberry Harbour, Lost Connection, Chakalaka, some Martin Roth remix (Miracle Cure or California Sunset); some Sied Van Riel remix (For Your Love), or YE ... none of these tracks are present in this ing top 20 vocal pop cheese trance.
The result is very clear: a cheese pop vocal trance that Armin play in their asot.

I think it was pretty obvious that tune was going to win, huge fan favorite.
It's the same every year about this top 20 I guess. Actually I was thinking people were a little bit pleased this time when I saw the list... but then I checked the last pages of this topic and seems like I was slightly wrong :P
Actually 4/5 of my votes are in the list (all vocal votes).
It's not that I don't like instrumental trance... but nowadays it doesn't _always_ do it for me. Sometimes I feel vocals often replace the trance we so eagerly miss from only a few years ago. (Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good instrumental this year).
But I guess this isn't the main reason for most people.
ASOT is commercial and has all kinds of fans... imagine all the girls voting for Miracle, You Never Said and The Killers to pick some random examples.
