And the good news is you can have any beer you want so long as it's a Corona.

It's very difficult to size a man up via a video call and judge whether or not you can take advantage of him though. :o

I'm not mad either... when you run a corporation that size (whether it's in the tank or not), your time is so valuable to so many people as an executive it's crazy. Those jets are an investment that gives execs the ability to make the country smaller, so to speak, and be in more places for important reasons. If you can go from Detroit to D.C., to Atlanta, and back to Detroit in one day, you can just get more done compared to flying commercial. It's a necessary cost of doing business when you're running a milti-billion dollar corporation.

But seriously, is first class to good for them?

I don't think it's about the quality of service/amenities. It's more about time. Being at the beck and call of a commercial airline schedule really isn't acceptable for CEOs.

EDIT:

In fact, an argument could likely be made that it costs the company more to fly a CEO commercially (in regards to the value of his time and how many trade customers/clients he could interface with) than on a corporate jet.

You're probably right about the time. But if they are getting public money, that money better not be used to fly corporate jets.

On my computer, quote text is pretty small.

only bothers me if they're flying corporate jets if the company is having financial problems. that really makes no sense if the company is facing possible bankruptcy and they're not doing anything to help..

Horrible movie.

This doesn't bother me at all.....heck....they should upgrade those jets with the extra cash flow they have now.

I wouldn't do business with any of those companies if they did sell their jets.

Well, 2009 is just around the corner and you need a new year resolution! ;)

(By the way, pressing "Ctrl" and "+" should solve your problem)
