Which city to visit? (football and techno related)

Dear UKTA's,
for a long time I've had the wish to visit a Premier League match. Today, I found a site which provides the trip (both by boat and by bus), overnight stay and a ticket for the match. All for a fair price.
Here it comes: the site can only provide deals that include home matches of either Newcastle United, Middlesbrough or Sunderland.
Main question: which club to pick? Sub questions: Which stadium/crowd got the best atmosphere? Which place has the best nightlife? I don't care for trance, I'd rather have progressive or techhouse/techno.
I'd be very pleased if some of you could provide some detailed info on this matter.
(and wow, UKTA is even more dead than NLTA) |

Newcastle then, there's a couple of half decent techno nights there I believe :) |

Shame you cant find a London club on the list, Fabric would be the obvious choice for a saturday techno night.
Newcastle stadium has a great atmosphere with one of the most passionate set of fans around.
Personally I would do it by myself in London, you can grab match tickets on ebay or ticket exchange sites of the club sites for the lesser teams. |

Well yeah, London is one of the places I like to visit very soon. Been there once, like 8 years ago with school. Visited all the tourists spots. I'd like to go there now for the nightlife. Fabric, Matter.. I've read too many great stories and seen many awesome vids.
I guess I'll go and have a look on those ticket exchange sites then. If the differences in price aren't too high, I might reconsider.
I always check the scores of Fulham.. don't know why, but I guess because of van der Sar and the fact I played Fulham a lot in Championship Manager :stongue: Fulham - Spurs would be awesome :) |

| Newcastle as Az said for the football side alone. No matter how they're doing the fans turn out in good numbers and they have some good players atm, michael owen, obafemi martins, coloccini from argentina, good keeper in given too. |
