| I just got Logic for my Birthday and I'm trying to install but the amount of Disk Space required to install is enormous if I want to install all the loops and effects and everything. Any recommendations as to how I should install the program? Maybe install the main program on my laptop and then install the rest of the stuff on a portable external? Any suggestions? Thanks. |

I'm not sure which advice to give. I think the best advice (as ******** gave) would be to load all the loops on an external drive, but then again you'll have to have that drive with you whenever you want to open up a project with loops. What's the harddrive space on your laptop?
Btw I see you know JC...have we met? |

is to have all you're programs on one HD and all the audio files on a seperate one. I have a 300gb for my OS and logic, and then another one with 500gb for audio. sounds like you need another HD or trash a bunch of unused programs might clear up some space
