Progression Project goes large with two of the biggest trance acts in the world, Mike Koglin (UK) and Daniel Kandi (Denmark)

There is a definite lack of quality trance around the Christmas and New Year period in Sydney. Progression project has decided to do something about it and bring out two of the biggest trance names in the world. Progression Project Christmas party featuring:

Mike Koglin (UK)
Daniel Kandi (Denmark)

Mike Koglin first claimed his place on the trance podium over 10 years ago. Since then, the Grammy-nominated Producer and DJ has enjoyed massive success, releasing a constant string of critically acclaimed productions including the recent ‘All the Way’ and the classic ‘Sequential’ with Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant. On top of this, Koglin has completed over 75 remixes in the last 10 years which have earned him overwhelming support from some of the industry’s most recognised artists including World #1 Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, and many more. His out of this world production talent means he has a real ear for music and knows how to get a crowd pumping within just a few minutes!

Next up, and a much anticipated Australian debut, we welcome Danish trance superstar Daniel Kandi. Undoubtedly one of the most prolific upcoming trance producers to have emerged from Europe in recent times, Kandi has been devastating dance floors the world over with his uplifting style and unparalleled ability. Snapped up by the supreme Anjunabeats label after releasing his very first hit single ‘Breathe’, Kandi has gone on to produce some of the biggest tunes being played by the biggest names in the world right now.

As this is the Progression Project Christmas party, we thought what better way to do the local support than some solid b2b sets. We don’t normally do b2b sets, but these are guys who have wanted to play together and know how to put on a show. Luke Sykes b2b Strepta and Nick Watts b2b Slade (Beatz radio set). So make sure you come down to get a final dose of Progression Project trance and progressive for 2008.
