...a program that would get rid of underscores in mp3 file names? i've seen a number of ppl. saying how they dont like song names like
01-dj_tiesto_-_them_from_norejfall_remix
i dont know if a program already exists, but if it doesn't and if there is enuff interest i can write a program in assembly, so it'll be fast and really small too, which will get rid of the underscores...all u will have to do is copy and paste it in the directory in which all ur mp3 files are stored...it'll go thru all of them, one by one, check for underscores, and remove them...of course it'll be free :D..it'll run on windows
so, enuff ppl. should be interested, cos if u know anything about programming, u know that assembly is time-consuming, so i need to know if the effort will be worth it |

dunno, i like the underscores.
If i ever needed to call up the file in DOS, i could type it out! :P |

| Why not write it in Visual Basic. Very simple, and is just right for a proggy like this. Should take about 20-30 lines or so. I don't think it'll be much use anyways, since winamp automatically removes "_".;) |

but u seem to, and 25-30 lines is friggin SMALL...why can't u do it?! |

| cuz its 11 o'clock @ night and im tired :D. I gotta reinstall it, maybe if the responce is good ill do it, I havne't programmed in a WHILE, should be good practice. Im a master procrastinator (sp?) :tongue3, just a warning |
