Has anybody heard about the game that the US Army is developing? The game is called "America's Army" and will be distributed for free on their website and other places. So far they have spent 6.3 million dollars developing this game (using the Unreal engine)! That's more than any Final Fantasy game ever created.

| Looks cool. With that big of a budget and the use of the Unreal engine hopefully it will be a quality production. At least it'll be free so if it does suck your not out any of your hard earned cash. |

Guess again. Final Fantasy 7 reportedly cost around $30 million to produce and FF8 cost aroud $40 million to produce. |

more money spent on FF 7 thats why it was 10000000000000 times better than 8

| good thing for you guys you have to live in the united states to be able to get it. its not a download. you sign up for it and when its released they will mail out the cds. its goal is to spark interest in the army among people of the gaming age (average age of a gamer in the US is 23 i think). so if you arent a US citizen your outta luck. if you are and you dont mind some junkmail from the Army then you just got a free game that looks amazing. |

Nevermind, found the link: http://www.americasarmy.com/jumppage.html
You have to be a US citizen for the pre-order...I'm pretty sure others will be able to download it when it becomes available though. |
