IMO
Mainstream ( Commercial ) EDM does exist, and yes... loads of cheesy music is being released lately by the same producers over and over.
But then... Who really gives a ?, it is your choise to listen to the commercial or Dig for the good stuff.
Just because these bitches are the so called top 100 Djs, does not mean they are actually good at what they do.
Quality is hard to find these days, i have been searching the whole year for tunes that make me go on OMG OMG OMG OMG mode... it has been hell... but when i did get to find them, i jizzed in my pants :gsmile: .

Hey, all you, before you moan on, pretty much all that is said is ing true. Too many 'aspiring' producers copy what they can and now it's even easier than ever to make a watered down version of a sound that is 'hot' (see: Deadmau5, Rank 1's new, oh so cool 'dark' stuff). I was in love with trance music for years, now, 95% of it sounds like cheap bedroom knockoffs being signed by labels to be played for two weeks on some DJs show before disappearing into obscurity. I long for th e days it took skill and hardware to make trance, which sadly will never been seen again :sadgreen: |
