| Sound was really bad where I was standing, had to move upstairs for a while just to be able to move, the place was RAMMED! I guess that just shows the love that this city has for the mau5. |

I got there @ 10:45 and could not BELIEVE the lineup... there were at least a gajillion ppl in the line and another gajillion ppl crowded around the front doors... utter mayhem. The "bouncers" looking after the line said that the club was nearly at capacity @ 10:45. Why didn't they book him @ circa or something? TIL was waaaaaaay too small of a venue for this rat.

+1 we got there just after 11 and Jeff told me club was already at capacity and they weren't letting anyone in, WTF!...when we drove by the lineup was absolutely disgusting, so we missed out :( at least the night wasn't ruined b/c of our FW backup plan! |

thats why i told everyone to get there at 10 ... 10:30 at the latest.
i arrived at 10 and the line already went around the corner. by 10:30 the line went around the back of the club by the vip back door. |

my guess is because ink got the booking, not circa. (duh)
and since circa is not an ink venue i think thats why deadmau5 wasn't there. |

Very frustrating night. I was really looking forward to Deadmau5.
I don't like going to clubs early unless we're going to see a headliner early (Guv all access events, for instance). M&S were ok, but I found the set boring.
And then there's TiL. What a terrible venue for such a massive DJ. I think the Mau5 could have played to a jammed Guv main room, or a well attended Koolhaus.
The crowd was pushy and the dance floor was absolutely jammed until around 3. I was really into the set when I left at 3:30 but had drank enough water to sober up and was simply too aware of the surroundings.
I would be very hesitant in going back to TiL. |
