well this is for the guys who are getting a bit older...i mean mid 20s and up....
lateley i have been getting scared thinking that i MIGHT not get married....well me and my friend are both feeling this...
i started thinking about my ex-ex-girlfriend who wanted to marry me...but i was too busy partying and hanging out will friends going clubbing and ...
She was the best girl for me, NOW that i am looking back...i just NEVER realized it...
Wanna see how much of a moron i am...i will tell u a bit about her...
She was 5'6 112 pounds , straight blonde hair, bright green eyes and a beautiful tan because of her Italian skin...i mean a hottie...she was the type of girl who would stay with you "EVEN" if you LOST both your arms and legs, couldnt talk and drooled all over yourself all day and she had to bath and feed you nonstop...she would NO JOKE stay with you....
she would do anything for me....when i was hungry, she made me what ever i wanted to eat..no matter what time it was day or night....she would scratch my back, tickle my feet give me a massage and even scratch my balls anytime i asked....sometimes i would wake up to her sitting on my but giving me a back massage to wake me up with a glass of juice...
There is not enough space on the internet to explain to you HOW MUCH she did for me....she was that good....and 1 day she will make some guy VERY happy as his wife...but it wont be me anymore...
She wanted to marry me..we where together for 5 1/2 years and we where planning on it...but i just couldnt resist going out with my friends every night and cruising in my car....
what a ing moron i am...but i NEVER realizzed how much she meant to me till i lost her for good...and it is for good because i have tryed to get her back...but its a lost cause...i lost my chance at a girl who was 1 in a million...she is very special to me...i jus wish she beleived me when i tell her...well now we dont even talk..she basically hates me because i screwed her over...and i dotn blame her...
but now i am getting OLDER and am getting nervous that i wont find anyone like her again...i look and date but nothing compares...basically i aam curious as to how many other guys in there 20s are TIRED of ing around and are ready NOW to settle down with a girl and maybe marry her...but you just cant find it now that your older...its alot harder...
cus i can tell u i am sure as getting ing scared that i might of lost out on the girl i was supposed to marry...who knows maybe this is my payback for being a dick to her for so many years after she treated me like gold...oh well...sorry for rambling... |

| what the.... i'd just like to say that i NEVER plan on getting married... for any reason... if i get really close to someone then i might live with em for a bit... but marirage in this day and age is unrealistic... you're setting yourself up for needless hardships... |

| Feel better, "Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all..." I have NEVEr, repeat NEVER had anyt kind of relationship, or even casual fling for that matter, sucks ass. I'm just waiting, living life until that girl comes along...that's all I can really do. And I keep thinking of a really good quotation my cousin told me once "Don't think of yourself as any less of a man for not being with a girl" (physically or even relationshipwise). Just keep going...it'll happen. |

of course.... but just wait till the honey moon's over.... it horrifies me to think of putting so much time into a relationship for how many years and then all of a sudden you divorce and the girl you've been with all that time goes and s other men....the divorce rates these day are ludicrous... |

seems liek u may have been hurt before...i could be wrong but seems like your scared of relationships....
i heard a funny thing once about divorce rates...this guys says:
"60% of marriages in the U.S. end in divorce ...but hey thats better then the other 40% that end in death"
LOL i always thought that was funny:tongue3 |

| i haven't been hurt really at all.... i know i seem defensive but i have witnessed a lot of bull in marriages from my own parents and other families around me to realize that marriage isn't the way for me to go.... it just doesn't suit me.... i don't think it really suits any human when you think about it...love fades faster then you'd think... then you're stuck in pure monotonous, a dead end job, no ambition, no fun save for your few hours of respite from your needy family, and the only way out is a bullet to your dome.... |

But are their relationships really that loving *because* they are married?
I probably am very cynical when it comes to marriage. To me it's an institution of society that's designed to keep the man around while the kids grow up. I, for one, can't really see myself desiring somebody my entire life. Love in a platonic way, yes, but desire, no.
But, I do understand where you're comming from, tiesto14. If you are not in a relationship you are sending a message that you reject the way of life of the majority (those who are in a relationship). You will have to answer questions like "Shouldn't you be getting a girlfriend?" ("come on over to our side"), constantly being reminded that you are not like others. However, hard as that may be, I still think it beats spending 80% of your spare time with someone you find less than fascinating... |
