i ran into one at the xmas party i went to on xmas eve. she seemed pretty cool and outgoing at first and i thought "hmm a cool chick" and then about an hour later i thought, "oh jesus christ, she is one of those non-stop talkers". she has to maintain control of the coversation at all times and always finds a way to relate to whatever anyone is talking about and takes over the convo and turns it into a story about her. i'm pretty chatty myself but i know when to stfu and so for me to think you talk a lot, you must REALLY talk a lot.
by the next morning (xmas day mind you) she had already requested me and my bf on facebook and emailed me "hey! it was really nice to meet you! bla bla bla" me and my bf were like "omg, here we go" :stongue: not only does she talk a lot, but she is desperate.

I think we, non-stop talkers, should team up and fight the oppression. I know I talk quite a lot in real life, although I'm often just like a stand-up comedian (cracking jokes and telling funny stories) or a lecturer (talking about stuff no one really cares about :p).
I try to see if the people around me are entertained or not, though, and I try to give everyone as much time as I think I'm getting, so I don't draw the attention for too long. |

The main problem of almost all the non-stop talkers is that they will say something very stupid sooner or later... In real life I talk just as much as my partner. You have to listen, not only talk. |

It's like those people who will say whatever inane ing thing is in their head at any given time, just for the sake of having something to say. .
People just aren't conscious or considerate of their audience. Most people aren't really truly conscious of much to begin with. |

Oh, I was talking about Slylee, I was not calling you a non-stop talker.
As for me, I don't mind saying stupid stuff. I think some stupidity is always welcome... people often try too hard to look intelligent and/or "refined", and that gets on my a lot more than a bunch of chavs or rednecks talking about simple things and/or being completely clueless.
I think everyone should talk about farts whenever they realise they sound too pretentious. |

Well you quoted me so thats why I replied even though I got it that you were talking about her. And by stupid I mostly meant something hurtful. Stupid talking by both sides is funny but stupid talking by only one side is dumb. I hate refined people too, they are boring. |
