Could anyone take a quick listen and tell me if this sounds ok on your end. I'm near the end but have heard it so many times I don't know what the hell is going on anymore.

Thanks!

Cheers!

Hihats at the beginning need a bit of advanced compression, they sound a bit thin and flimsy although I do like the rhythm. Synths are actually pretty decent.

Nice tune, but I don't like the snare at the end -- it's either too loud or a different sample would be better. Try mixing it down a few different ways (gotta take a break first though, to rest your ears).

The production is 7.8/10 for me, so not bad. Good job. You do need to think about comparing it to like Benya or Probspot if you are gonna go for this trancey, deeper progressive sound.

THX Evolve! Thinking about using some new drums all together, the drums I have are just some loops I found. Gonna try and make them sound better with battery. The snare I freaking could not get right, this confirms it. Gonna find a new sample.

Been listening to Benya and pobspot. Probspot sounds more my taste so gonna A and B some of there tracks. Thanks for the really helpful advice! Much appreciated.

Let me know if there is anything you want me to listen to.

Ekkert mal (Icelandic for no problem, not sure if this is close to Norwegian).

Probspot is just great, his percussion and production is simply great.

Hammer & Funabashi, Purple Haze (Sander van Doorn's earlier progressive trance),

BT - Simply Being Loved (Somnambulist) (Junkie Xl Vocal Mix)

M.I.D.O.R, and Six4Eight for that matter.

Headstrong Feat Tiff Lacey - The Truth (David West Progressive Mix)

Anything by The Flash Brothers.

David West - Make You Mine, anything by David West

Also check out Dousk! This is all I can think of right now, good luck man!

don't worry about the snare too much, it's just a tonal issue as far as I can tell. but it's amazing how sometimes the entire mix revolves around the percussion "mixing" with all the elements, so it's just an overall, universal feel you want to attain and the sound of that snare is a bit unappeasing. It's a bit too light.

I cant hear the bass!

other than that sounds cool, smooth and trippy

Totally agree about the snare and percussion. listened to it the next day and its funny how your ears trick you when you have listened for to long and to loud.

Decided to take a break today to rest my ears and fix the highs tomorrow. Thanks alot for those tracks! gonna check them out on beatport, sure I will get some great ideas. Prospot is the ! Love it! Thanks again for listening.

gr8ape-will check out the bass on my monitors and will try and make it more noticeable. Thx for checking my track out and glad you liked it.

Cheers!
