Let's continue talking about myself for a moment. I guess it's about time people know how I've been.
I transferred to Rutgers in the spring, got a cute little student loan. Then the market crashed, and the bank froze my loan, so going back in spring '09 was going to be difficult. I weighed my options and realized I wasn't willing to jump through all the hoops required to receive enough money to pay for school.
Just got dealt a hand I suppose.
I'm getting a load of money for school through the Montgomery g.i. bill and the army college fund, 65k. (Catch is, I have to be a full time, which I don't mind at all.) My MOS is human intelligence collector (35M) and I'm leaving on Monday for basic training for 3 months, then going to Arizona for job training. After that, I'll be at DLIFLC for language training, most likely. I am active duty for 3 years 30 weeks.
Anyone in the armed forces want to give me advice? :gsmile:
I met the most amazing girl this month, and tried to get something going, but she couldn't stand the fact that she'd be leaving her boyfriend for a man that was going to be away 95% of the year. It makes sense, and it wouldn't be fair to her, but I still feel horrible, and I will write to her regardless. She's truly amazing.
