Foo Fighters - Everlong (Stef Remix)

Hey guys, i was always in love with this track and decided to do my own take on it, the style is very different than my usual in your face kind of trance, but i hope you like it.

Anyone?

The percussions are way too lound compared to the rest of the track plus the percussions could use some more elements for my taste

I'm unsure about the rest, it sounds a bit like there's nothing really happening during the track

The track needs more attention to the lyrics, and how they are sung in parts of the song.

I do like the processing of vocals though and the percussion patterns. Although I do think they are a bit punchy.

Overall though, not my style of music, but some nice ideas going on.

I did try to stay true to the orginal track as much i could melody wise, and it was a tad hard to work with as a 150bpm rock track :) I meant it as more of a intro track, but you are right now that i look back at the percussion it does seem a tad too loud.

I am going to do a bit of work on the percussion as that seems to be the main gripe with the track. As for the vocals it was qute hard to work with them seeing as the acapella i found was a 96k crunchy and staticy mp3 file. Thanks for input, really helps!

Your input is about as appreciated as helen keller offering to fly a plane.

i haven't heard the original so i can't compare to that.

i think the vocals come in too early...just a matter of preference

there are some synths that sound a bit raw. i like the sidechained one though.

i think the vocals should be a bit louder in the mix.

overall it sounds ok.....the mix is pretty clear, there seems to be no muddiness or very little.

hm... percussion sounds out of key with the rest of the original track. good shot though.

Thanks for the review, the original is a alt. rock track that is now over 13 years old haha but i guess its just a matter of preference in terms of the vocals coming in a tad early.

Sounds pretty good. Vocals need to be a little louder as said before but otherwise very nice :D

oh man... please do something about the vocals - off beat - awful del/etc...)

enough has been said. Not being harsh, just honest - imo
