Not to whore myself, but check out my sig.

Mainly this collection of tracks I have done, mixed together

Most of it is dark-drone/noise stuff.

Its not noise noise, give it a try. There is some melodic ambient and stuff as well in it.

Listen to my Drones Club EP as well, that is not noise.

This as well: http://www.last.fm/music/Joss+Weatherby/Longness It is not nearly dark ambient though.

Woob, if you can find and afford his material. I still kick myself in the ass for not buying woob - woob at the record store when i had the chance.

sorry, i had to edit bartholomew's borderlands cd out. the one i really meant was nostalgia's the house on the borderland. i remembered the word 'borderland' in the title but not the actual artist, so i mixed them up. my bad.

Evan Bartholomew is good, though.

that is probably true, but it has little resemblance to what he asked for. there's pretty much only one track on it that i think really fits, and that's the one i linked to in the same post.

I understand. "Borderlands" is in a modern classical style, very organic. His two subsequent albums are bona fide ambient, though. They're darker and textural, with some occasional rhythmic elements. Steve Roach-like atmospheres.

If you like "dark' ambient. Try out Brian Eno- The Shutov Assembly LP. Alot of sounds webbing in and out with some sinister synths.
