| only thing i wish is that you could zoom in better to the waveform without it looking like a bunch of blocks for the tempo anchors... |

I have one and it works fine with Torq. The only thing to be aware of the buttons on the UC-33 are NOT like the pads on the trigger finger. That is, the buttons are not very good for triggering things like effects or loops within a precise and quick time period. Sometimes you have to mash the button 2 or 3 times before it registers.
But the faders and eqs are great.
On that note, you might consider a trigger finger as an alternative. It's still got a good selection of faders and knobs, Torq-wise.
Hope that helps! |

| I played with Dave Ralph last night, and he used this. Looked very very cool. I hadn't really considered going software until last night, but its definitely on my radar now. |

Yeah, I'm in the market for a new mixer so I might just do the djm800 or evo 4 route, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting a mixer with effects if I'll just have most of them anyway with torque.
You guys have any torq effect chains you wanna share? |
go to the torq forums, there is one user (djben i think)) he has a topic in the general section where is pm'ing people his snapshots. Probably better then any I got at the moment. |

Yeah, you can use the buttons to pitch bend but it's a bitch because you often have to mash them more than once to get it to respond on screen, as I was talking about above. You'd definitely be better off with a Trigger Finger for that since it's much more responsive and accurate using the pads. |

Looks like pads like the Trigger Finger so yeah. But honestly, I know I sound like a broken record, but you might as well get the Trigger Finger over that Korg because in addition to the pads it has faders and knobs that you can assign as well. |
