| Personally im tired of people saying remixes of this song are amazing, nothing in the slightest bit is about syncing you rolling bass line to a 135bpm 4/4 track that is already perfectly mastered. |

Viva la Vida must be in the running for one of the most remixed and ed about with tracks in 2008 :haha:
Not hard to see why though aha. I mashed it up with 'Smack' by Simon Patterson when i was spinning and i gotta be honest it was pretty banging :rolleyes: |

I really like this. The sounds are very nice, perc, bassline all that. Kinda cookie-cutter trance sounds but thats not always a bad thing.
My problem is the arrangement is VERY bland. No real flow to it. It feels like its the full original under a typical trance bassline, no flor or progression. Also, no break in the vocal, it just goes and goes then its done.
I would support this mix for sure if the arrangement were a little more thought out and inspiring.
But yea, nice job, just put a little more effort into the arrangement. |
