Because most of the cunts in this world have no reason to downgrade. Unless you are some hardcore gamer that needs every little ounce of performance squeezed out of it or you are a business with old software or a consumer that won't let go of their piece of hardware that has been superseded by 15 generations, Vista will mostly run fine and do what you need. |
o rly? no wonder vista ever appeared. enjoy spending 50% of your CPU/RAM on semitransparent blurred windows with smooth fade effects and shade :clown: Microsoft is definitely walking step by step along with today's electronic music market:stongue: |

That is bull. I ran vista on this piece of that I have and I run it at work. CPU is NEVER 50% and aero is enabled all the time. Ram is 600mb of 2gb. What now? Yeah, shut the up already. People like you are the reason it keeps having this bull stigma.
Fledz: "intensive" apps? Would this happen to be business/education? If so, as I said, it is not a choice for that market. ;) |

oh... just that much? some insignificant 600 MB.. who would ask less for an operation system that is designed to visually aid the user in moving files back and forth and running 3rd party apps:rolleyes: |

Music Production
3D Imaging & Rendering
Movie Editing
Complex Programming and Physical Modelling
etc
etc
etc
Thing is that most people aren't downgrading. They had XP before and have no reason to upgrade, unless they want to play DX10 games.
Vista is pretty much obsolete because it can be too system intensive. Background processes can eat up a lot of RAM. |

bull, I worked at Dassault Systems (www.3ds.com) makers of CATIA, the best and most used 3D modeling software and their latest version V6 is made from the get go for Vista. |
