Just took a look at that Reason 4 file, and that's the best simple example there is, although for me the effect is a bit too exaggerated.

Reverb and sidechain is all you really need. I don't use FL, so I'm not sure how to do sidechain in it, but I would imagine thats it's as simple as in Reason.

But yeah, what MOK said is basically it.

yup, reverse clap, tons of reverb, sidechained to a 4x4 kick. instead of sidechaining you could get a similar effect with a quarter note delay i suppose.

A bit harsh. Try this.

Cut the start off it where the sharp clap/snare hit is. Then reverse the sample and apply delay and reeverb to it. Now reverse it back and re-apply the sidechain and other FX.

What should he be sidechaining it to? The kick?
I might be crazy, but that's just not making sense to me...
