between 0130 and 0300 the music was epic....The only disappointing thing is that most of the crowd had no clue about EDM...I have been going to vision for over 4 yrs...every time I go lately, I leave with the sweet nostalgia of the past...
Because of the quality of the music (at least yesterday), its worth getting shoved, beer on your face,8ft dudes looking at you and ready for a fight cuz they are not getting any later, people taking pills like they are peanuts and needing 6sq ft for their dance needs, and the list can go on..
As much as I am curious what Armin will do in 2 weeks I'm tempted not to go...

i thought i was the only one who noticed all this and actually thought maybe i was going crazy. this is almost like the atmosphere at Guvernment in Toronto with i'd say 80% more dudes. aside form Spybar, i hope there comes a club which brings wicked house music back to Chicago and makes more international DJ's wanna come too. maybe i just miss the Guv:tongue2

They played everyone of my favorites off of Sirens. You shoulda seen me when they dropped "Lonely Gril"!!!!! So my favorite!!! How did everyone like the "Galaxia 09" mix? I'm in LOVE, that's one of my trance classics.
We come from Detroit for A LOT of shows, and I agree most of the people had no idea who Above and Beyond were!!! Well, now they do:toocool:

Above & Beyond was great at Vision! I don't know why anyone had any problems with '8 ft tall dudes' or whatever but I know that a met a lot of really cool people at that venue... I had a crazy lookin flashy necklace and rings, maybe you might have seen me or met me that night, but lots of good energy in that room and good people for the most part!
DJ Row- I truly enjoyed your set. Hope to see you live again soon...
I'll be back for Armin on the 20th, look for the flashing bracelets or necklace hehe.
