Johan Gielen live @ TE 2001 Scratching part!

Hey,
I was wondering what you people thought of the scratching part in Johan Gielen live @ TE 2001 at 5:55 (for you guys who downloaded a part of the mix :))
I think it really kicks ass! But maybe it's cheap easy ?? Please tell me! |

Don't think so, when he pull's out that semple from 'The beauty of silence' I was damn amazed man. I was tryin to do the same thing with Mixmeister haha some ppl might start laughing at me. I'll tell u what I couldn't do it I mean i took a sample did the same thing put it on 'Recovered' it took me about 2 hrs but I did it for only abouta min of 'Recovered' itself.
Scrathing is kinda cool when the voice starts saying 'u know what it can do to u...it can blow the speakers..kers..kers...kers.
I think the idea is awsome. |

Just buy the right needles,turntables and there you go!!

| It's great to my opinion,mostly when you hear the crowd go really nuts when he kicks 'the beauty of silence' for the first time in,but at some points it's a bit odd in when you hear it for teh first time,but still it's nice!I like it much very:) |

wel du-uh!:)but the scratching part is right in between it ,he scratche s'the bueaty of silence' too at a moment,but well yes you guys are talking about'the moon',its also nice,but let's face it ,it's 'the moon'(overplayed!) |

I can only hear Tecno Gekkos - Tribal Tec and The Moon - Blow The Speakers (Paul Hutsch Remix) but where's The beauty of silence???? |

on the set he isn't really scratchin sounds like he is movin the fade UP n down so it fades in n out of the song. but im not sure is tis the rite set.. my set is wit

| heh i don't get it. when dj jean scratches, people are always saying, "man he ed up the song, he should just leave the song as it is" but when other people do the same thing they get praised for it. |
